Description
At Le Monastère des Augustines, the museum experience unfolds in a place, dedicated to healing for nearly four centuries. The permanent exhibition traces the evolution of the spiritual and social commitment of the Augustinian Sisters of Québec through the ages.
Discover the community’s way of life, their work caring for the sick, and and their ideal balance between action and contemplation. Throughout the rooms, objects and archives from their monastery-hospitals bring the exhibition to life. The museum’s concept is designed to provoke thought and allow visitors to immerse themselves in our heritage setting.

Organizer
Since 2015, Le Monastère des Augustines has been offering cultural and wellness activities in a non-denominational setting. With its service offering focused on heritage and holistic health, our NPO continues the tradition of care of the Augustinians, a hospital community that arrived in Québec in 1639.
