In accordance with Bill 25, An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information, Le Monastère des Augustines has implemented policies and practices that govern the use of personal information. Security

All transactions through http://www.monastere.ca Website are processed via a secure server to prevent unauthorized access to data during the transfer process between your computer and the server. The presence of a “green lock” icon in the status bar at the bottom of your browser (on transaction pages) ensures and confirms the security of the page as well as the data transfer process.

In compliance with Bill 25, Le Monastère des Augustines keeps a register of confidentiality incidents.

Accuracy of information

Le Monastère des Augustines takes all necessary measures to ensure that the information on its Website is accurate. However, it is possible that certain mistakes, display errors, inaccuracies, omissions and other types of errors may appear on occasion.

Pricing listed on the site

Prices listed on the Website are in Canadian currency; you will therefore be billed in Canadian dollars. If you reside outside Canada, a conversion from your local currency will automatically be carried out by your credit card issuing company.

If applicable, and unless otherwise stated on the Website, please note that transportation and delivery charges, along with sales taxes, will be added to your bill.

Prices on the Website are subject to change without notice.

Payment

When placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount of your order (price of products, shipping costs and applicable taxes) as indicated on the site at the time of the order. You also agree to honour your contract with your financial institution (credit card issuer).

Cancellation policy for accommodation reservations

It is possible to cancel free of charge up to 4 p.m. (local time) two days before the scheduled arrival of your stay. For late cancellations or date changes made less than 48 hours before scheduled arrival, you will be charged the amount of one night’s stay plus taxes. In the case of a change of date, the amount deducted may be used as a credit for the stay on the new dates. Please refer to the cancellation policy on your accommodation confirmation for group stays.

Gift certificates and gift cards

Gift certificates and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be used to purchase another gift certificate or gift card. Gift certificates or gift cards with a cash value do not have an expiration date.

Gift certificates and gift cards for treatments or packages may require supplemental fees if the prices exceed the value when making the reservation.

Limited liability

In any case where Le Monastère des Augustines is held and proven liable, the sum of money refunded will be equal to the price paid for the services or products that were returned.

Intellectual property and authorised use of the website

Any disputes between the user and Le Monastère des Augustines will be submitted before competent Québec jurisdiction in the district of Québec, Quebec, Canada. All competencies provided and decisions rendered by the courts in matters relating to dispute resolution are exclusive and final.

Le Monastère is exempt from all responsibility for the content and opinions expressed by Internet users on its social media networks. All comments are the sole responsibility of their authors. In this respect, Le Monastère has a netiquette policy that defines the rules of conduct and politeness that must be respected by our subscribers and all other users who interact on our social media networks.
