Guided tour “Secrets of the Building”

Le Monastère des Augustines bears witness to the principles of monastic architecture in North America. This exceptional convent complex embodies both the memory of the Augustinian Sisters and the history of Quebec, from the beginnings of New France to rehabilitation of Le Monastère in 2015. An invitation to discover the history of the Augustinian Sisters through the architectural evolution of their founding monastery.

• You can purchase your Museum access on site at Le Monastère’s front desk during the Museum opening hours.
• This tour is included in all accommodation packages of Le Monastère.If you are not staying at Le Monastère and would like to combine your visit to the Museum with a meal on site, consider purchasing a day pass.
• If you are a group of at least 10 people, it is possible to obtain a preferential rate for this guided tour. Your group must reserve in advance at 1 844 694-1639 #3354 or evenements@monastere.ca.
• Please note that the vaults where most of this tour takes place are difficult to access for people with reduced mobility.
