Twyla Burgoyne, RN, received her BScN from the University of Calgary and has worked in various roles as a nurse, in Canada and overseas. Her international work has provided her with a global perspective on health issues. She has served on the Ethics Committee of Interior Health (BC) for 10 years and was also a board member for South Okanagan Victim Assistance Program.
She is currently manager of the Travel Medicine Clinic in Penticton and also works as a case manager for Interior Health’s Home and Community Programs. Twyla has participated in several Courage & Renewal retreats and has found them enriching and helpful for a renewed perspective on work, life and relationships.
